A safe step away
Children open up far more easily through a character than about themselves.
A guided family tabletop adventure
A tabletop story your child will beg to play again, with real choices, dice, and a world you build together.
An app helps you guide every step, so you can stay in the story together.
How it works
Whether this is your first tabletop adventure or your hundredth, there is a place for you at the table.
Usually a parent. The app supports the Guide with the story, prompts, and what comes next.
Choose a ready-made Hero or create your own, then step into the Whispering Reach together.
Talk, imagine, and decide what your Heroes do. The app keeps the adventure moving, but the path is yours.
When the outcome is uncertain, the dice help decide what happens next.
Together, your family makes a story that belongs only to your table.
A lost giant, a singing grassland, and a race against the storm to guide a great migration home. This is the first adventure your family will be able to play.
You live in the Whispering Reach: a sea of grass taller than you that glows at night like an ocean of little stars. Once a year the great mossbacks, gentle tortoises as big as hills, cross the Whispering Reach on their long journey home. This year, one young mossback has fallen behind.
A world that listens
Wind moves through the grass. Ancient stones sing. Paths appear only after dark.
A migration in danger
Hundreds of gentle giants are heading home, with an autumn storm at their heels.
Lolo
A young mossback, lost far from the herd. Its small, wobbly hum sounds like "lo, lo."
Something is wrong
Signs point the wrong way. Places that should sing have gone quiet. Your family will have to discover why.
What your family does
What's included
What stays with you after the story
These ideas live inside the adventure, never on top of it. First and foremost, it is a wonderful story to share.
Mistakes are part of growing
A hard day or an old mistake does not erase the good. Heroes learn, try again, and keep going.
Everyone has something to offer
Looking impressive is not the same as being needed. Every Hero brings something the group cannot do without.
Some things take a whole team
Everyone matters, whether they are leading the way, lending a hand, or seeing what others miss.
Coming soon. Be first to know the moment your family can play.
Choose who you become
Five ready-made heroes, each brave in a different way, so every kind of player has a moment to shine. Pick one to meet them, or invent your own at the table.

The strong, steady one who stands in front. Kind-strong, not tough.

The listener and map-maker, who notices the wrong note no one else caught.

The one animals trust. Quiet, warm, and braver than they look.

The inventor with a plan for everything, half of which actually work.

The quick, brave one who always finds another way through. Never leaves anyone behind.
Why parents trust it
Dr. Emily Zehrer, MD, a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, co-creates every Moo Cow Games adventure with child development at its heart and family fun at the center.
Meet the family behind itThe child just plays. An extraordinary world, real choices, dice, and a story that is theirs. That is all it needs to be.
The grown-up gets quiet support. The app offers gentle prompts, good questions, and ways to adapt by age, so any growth happens through the story, never a lecture.
Good play can quietly build real skills. Four research-supported ideas shape the design, and each stays invisible at the table.
